Heroes Comic Con is proud to announce that Marie Javins, the only editor in chief of DC Comics, is coming to Brussels! You can now thank her personally for the many excellent comics that have been produced under her supervision over the past years. And for the very first time in Belgium, you will have the opportunity to submit your comic book work to her and have it reviewed for you. Bring your best work, hand it in and, who knows, you might get a job at one of the big names in comics! As an artist, Javins masterfully combines cultural storytelling with comic book creation, earning her the nickname “Editor of Choice” at DC Comics. She has edited numerous comics, books and graphic novels, including Superman Smashes the Klan (Gene Luen Yang, Gurihiru), Exit Stage Left: The Snagglepuss Chronicles (GLAAD Media Award 2019, Mark Russell, Mike Feehan et al) and Harley Quinn Breaking Glass (Mariko Tamaki, Steve Pugh).
