Pere Pérez
Pere Perez’s first work in American comic-books was Twilight Crusade: Templar for Moonstone Books. After that, he’d work on Dragonlance Chronicles for Devil’s Due and Savage Tales and Army of Darkness for Dynamite. His first work for DC Comics was Adventure Comics Feat. The Guardian. Moving to Marvel, he worked on New Avengers (AAFES): An Army of One and Marvel Adv. Fantastic Four. Pere returned to DC with books like Superman, Action Comics Annual, Superman Secret Files 2009, and had an acclaimed run on the Action Comics series.
After penciling Batgirl #10, 12, and 13, and the same character’s issue of Bruce Wayne: The Road Home, Pere collaborated on Batman: Return of Bruce Wayne. He was the ongoing artist on Batgirl until the book was substituted by its New-52 version. After drawing the first arc of Smallville: Season 11: Guardian, the official continuation of the hit TV show, Pere worked on Batwoman and the Detective Comics Annual. At Valiant, he worked on books like Archer & Armstrong and the Faith ongoing series, which earned him nominations for a Harvey Award and an Eisner Award, respectively.
Pere returned to Marvel, where he’s been an exclusive artist for a few years. At Marvel, he has drawn Deadpool Vs Punisher, the Rogue & Gambit miniseries, X-Men Gold, the bestselling relaunch of Uncanny X-Men, War of the Realms: X-Men, Ghost Spider Annual, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Venom, ALL the issues of the critically acclaimed Spider-Woman series, Valkyrie, Star Wars: Sana Starros, Iron Cat, and The Amazing Spider-Rex. Pere just finished the new Carnage series with scripts by Torunn Gronbekk and he’s currently working on the new TVA series written by the *Loki* TV show writer Katharyn Blair.
